1.About sharkTAG Live
sharkTAG Live provides near real-time tracking of tagged white sharks and monitoring buoys for iPhone and iPad. The app is intended for educational, scientific, and general informational purposes.
2.Not a Safety Tool
sharkTAG Live shows the positions of tagged sharks only. Most sharks in the ocean are not tagged, so the absence of a shark on the map does not mean an area is free of sharks. Tracking data may be delayed, incomplete, or approximate. Do not rely on sharkTAG Live to decide whether it is safe to swim, surf, dive, or enter the water. Always follow local guidance, posted warnings, and instructions from lifeguards and authorities.
3.Accuracy of Information
We work to keep the data in sharkTAG Live accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that any information in the app is complete, correct, or current. Shark and buoy data depend on tag transmissions, receiver networks, and data processing, any of which may be interrupted or delayed.
4.License to Use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use sharkTAG Live on Apple devices that you own or control, for non-commercial purposes, in line with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
